Malik is denied by the Sabers, a chance of appearing on the children’s television show of his childhood hero, Mookie, due to his part in “outing” a fellow teammate, Clay, because of bad publicity for the team. Meanwhile, Jason welcomes the help of Kelly and the Sunbeams to welcome Derek, Clay’s boyfriend, into their football family.
